பதிவுகள் தொடரும்...

பதிவெழுதி வெகு நாள் ஆகிவிட்டது. ஆணிகளும், டிவிட்டருமே இதற்கு முழுமுதற் காரணம். ஆணிகள் இருந்தாலும் இனி பதிவிடலாம் என்று இருக்கிறேன்.

சமையல் கலை

சென்னையில் இருந்த பொழுது மூன்று வேளையும் ஹோட்டல்களில் சாப்பிட நேர்ந்தது. பெங்களுரூக்கு இடமாறியது சமைத்து சாப்பிட வேண்டும் என்ற ஒரு தீர்க்கமான முடிவுடன் இருந்தேன். புதிதாக வீடு பிடித்து அதில் சமையல் செய்ய வேண்டிய உபகரணங்களை (கேஸ் அடுப்பு, சிலிண்டர், அது இது...) வாங்கி அடுக்குவதர்குள் பிரம்ம பிரயத்தனப்பட வேண்டியிருந்தது. பொருள்களைக்கூட வாங்கி விடலாம் போல, சமைப்பதும், சமைத்ததை கழுவி வைப்பதும் பெரும்பாடு. அது பழகுவதற்குத்தான் சில நாட்கள் பிடித்தது.

எல்லாம் சரியாகி கடந்த ஒரு மாதமாய் இரவு ஒரு வேளையும், வார இருதியில் மூன்று வேளையும் சமைக்கும் அளவுக்கு முன்னேறி விட்டோம். இதற்கிடையில் கல்லூரி நண்பரின் ஃபேமலியை ஒரு நாள் விருந்துக்கு அழைத்து அசத்தியது எவரஸ்ட் (ஒரு எஃபெக்ட்க்குத்தான்) ஏறி சாதித்த மகிழ்ச்சியை அளித்தது. மேலும் சில நாட்கள், கல்லூரி நண்பர்களை அழைத்து எல்லாரும் ஆளுக்கு ஒரு வேலையை செய்து விருந்து சாப்பாடு சாப்பிட்ட மகிழ்ச்சி அளவிலடங்காது.

சென்னையில் இருக்கும் பொழுது அலுவலகம் முடித்து வந்து அரட்டை அடித்து, ஃபாஸ்ட் புட் கடைகளிலும், அருகில் இருந்த சண்முகாஸ்-லும் சென்று சாப்பிட்டு தூங்குவது ஒரு வகை என்றால், பெங்களூரில் காலையில் (சில நாட்களில்...) எழுந்து சமைத்து, அலுவலகம் சென்று விட்டு வந்து, இரவு உணவையும் நாமும் நண்பர்களுடன் சேர்த்து சமைத்து, சாப்பிட்டு தூங்குவது இன்னொரு வகை. இரண்டு வகைகளும் சுவாரசியங்கள் அதிகமாக நிறைந்து இருக்கின்றன. நன்றாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

Lakshmi Narasimma Temple, Bannerghatta, Bangalore

Last weekend we went to Lakshmi Narasimma perumal temple in Bannerghatta, Bangalore. It is around 12 Kms from Jeyadeva Hospital stop. We went there early morning at 6.30am. There are two temples in that area, one is in hillside and other is in hilltop. It is a old temple with huge Gopuram. One which is in hilltop seems to be recently built.

We went there by two wheeler so that we could feel the breeze of the early morning. When we reached there it was very calm and quiet inside the temple. Morning poojas were started at that time and we had a good darshan. After that we reach hilltop temple. The steps were some what sloppy due to the drizzling. Environment around that area was much pleasing and calm. Since Bannerghatta National park is very near to that place, we could see full of greenish area from the hilltop. We spent some time at the hill top and enjoy the drizzling.

It is a good place to go. Since Bannerghatta National park is nearby to this place, we could enjoy the safari drive there. Check out the photos of the temple...
