How to start a blog (Post 1)

blog-blogging

Today i discussed with my friends about creating blogs and sharing our ideas, thoughts and information. Some of my friends who are new to blogging requested me to write about how to create a blog and posting. That time a big question mark aroused in front of me asking that “Are you a constant blogger ?”. Answer to this question is a big “NO”. I am not a blogger who is constantly updating posts in their blogs. But i am maintaining a blog by posting occasionally. I am also constantly adding new links, using new add-on in my blogs. Finally, i came to a conclusion that i got meager experience in creating blogs. So started this post on how to create a blog.

First step on creating blogs is either you need a Google or Word press ID. My suggestions is to go for Google Login ID. Google is making blogging more easier by providing featured add-ons.

www.blogger.com is the blogger tool provided by Google. Here you can create any number of blogs using a single Google ID.

After creating a blog, we would like to give a different look to our blog for inspiring readers. Newly created blog is like an empty house. You need to make your house in to a home where you feel comfortable. For decorating your (designing) blog, you don't need to make much actions. You can get already designed blogger templates from the following sites

http://best-template.blogspot.com/

http://www.bloggerbuster.com/

There are thousands of websites providing blogger templates. You can also Google it to get more. Downloaded blogger template is an xml file. You need to upload that xml file in www.blogger.com . It can be uploaded in the “Setting->Layout” link of your blog list.

I will continue part 2 of this post for giving information about useful add-ons and gadgets to make your blog more appealing.

College Days…

college_life_blue_mousepad-p144872945846103082trak_400

I found this wonderful lines when i was doing my graduation. After completed my college days i took a print out of this and stick in my room. Whenever i visit my native place i found this print out available in my room. It reminds me about my college days. I like to share those lines with you all. Expect you may also get some glimpse of the wonderful moments from your college days…

Time does not wait for you or me

Days pass and years pass

You lose your loved ones

You move away from your loved ones

You move to different places

Your life changes , your friends change, attitude changes

Society changes !!

But your heart has those

Precious moments etched in it

Whether you want it or not, it is there !

Making you happy at times

Sad at times and making you even more painful at times

Your heart has those moments in that corner where no one can see

What is it, they ask seeing your blank face

And you just smile, saying , “Nothing”

Movie Review: Madurai Sambavam

Yesterday i had a chance to see the movie Madurai Sambavam. It is a good movie and the story is also good. Even it is a well known story, screenplay narration makes it more interesting. If a good performing or mass hero selected this story, it would be a blockbuster movie.

I am just a viewer of this cinefield. I don't have much idea about this field. But a big question arise in my mind is why good performing heroes are not selecting this kind of stories. A doubt also arises whether the basic story line is disturbed by the mass heroes due to their image in the market. As a normal fan of Tamil films, my expectation is to view good films with different nice stories. Whether it would be a classic movie or commercial movie, all we are expecting a good story line and its interesting narration.

If time permits, try to watch this movie. I feel Madurai native friends would like it more.
